Friuli DOC Aquileia Pinot Grigio
The Pinot Grigio grapes harvested in Aquileia are quickly soft-pressed and remain in contact with their own yeasts for at least three months.
The brilliant and shiny straw-yellow colour expresses a serious and characteristic nose, revealing recognizable pear, baked apple and floral notes.
The palate is salty-savoury, dry and broad. The centre is characterized by a satisfying freshness that captures the taste buds in the offing and follows through, energetic and fragrant and without hesitation, to the finale.
It pairs well with soups and vegetable pasta dishes, grilled vegetables, molluscs, crustaceans, fried fish and seafood and risotto.
